A quiet hour for your body

In a hyperbaric session you settle into a comfortable, pressurized chamber and breathe oxygen-enriched air. The gentle rise in pressure lets your body take in more oxygen than it can at ordinary room pressure.

Most people find it deeply relaxing. You can read, listen to music, close your eyes, or simply rest. A typical session runs about 60 minutes, and we offer both 1.5 and 2.0 ATA options depending on what fits you.

Many clients pair hyperbaric with red light therapy — ask about our combination packages. Red Light Therapy →

Everyone’s reasons are their own. Here’s what we hear most:

“I train hard and I want to bounce back faster.”

“I'm worn down, and I'd love more energy in my day.”

“I want to support my overall wellbeing as I get older.”

What a session looks like

  1. 1

    Settle in

Wear something comfortable. We get you set up, answer questions, and help you relax before we begin.

  2. 2

    Breathe & rest

You feel a gentle pressure change, a little like an airplane descent. Then you relax for about 60 minutes.

  3. 3

    Ease back out

We slowly return to normal pressure, and you head back into your day feeling calm.

Questions, answered

What is mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy?

It means relaxing inside a pressurized chamber while breathing oxygen-enriched air. At Recovery Space this is a wellness setting at 1.5 to 2.0 ATA — a calm, comfortable experience rather than a clinical procedure.

What does a session feel like?

Very relaxing. You lie back in the chamber, feel a mild pressure change as it begins (similar to a plane landing), and then simply rest for about an hour. Many clients nap or listen to music.

How should I prepare?

Wear comfortable clothing, arrive hydrated, and give yourself time to settle. If you have a cold or congestion, let us know — it can make equalizing pressure uncomfortable, so we may suggest rescheduling.

How many sessions will I need?

It's different for everyone and depends on your goals. Many clients choose a 5- or 10-session package or a monthly membership for consistency. The best first step is a quick conversation with Iku.

Is it safe, and is there anyone who should check first?

Hyperbaric sessions are generally well tolerated. If you are pregnant, have ear or sinus issues, lung conditions, or feel claustrophobic, please talk with us and your healthcare provider beforehand. Recovery Space offers wellness services and is not a substitute for medical care.

Is this the same as hospital hyperbaric treatment?

No. Hospital HBOT is a medical treatment for specific conditions. Our sessions are a wellness experience and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
